Blackhall Gaels - A Weekend of Football, Friendship and Team Spirit
Our lads enjoyed a fantastic weekend in Kerry, travelling to Cordal GAA for a brilliant blitz on September 26th, that brought 25 players together across two teams.
The teams took on Cordal, Currow, Castleisland and Firies, making the most of the opportunity to play new opposition, develop their skills and enjoy a great weekend of football.
Following the blitz, everyone headed back to the Gleneagle Hotel for a group meal, rounding off the weekend in great company. A huge thank you to our four generous sponsors who kindly sponsored the meal. Your support helped make the occasion extra special for the players and coaches.
We would also like to thank the coaches,John O'Brien, George Beirne, Conor Burke, David Ledwith, Paul Dooley and Darren O’Connor, for their time and commitment in making the weekend such a success. A special thanks to Darren for helping make the connection with his home club, Cordal GAA, who hosted the blitz.
Weekends like these are about more than football. They are about building friendships, strengthening team spirit and creating memories that will last long after the final whistle.
Well done to everyone involved, and thank you to all who helped make it such a successful trip! 💙💛
