🔵🟡 U14 BOYS HURLING - SEMI FINAL BOUND 🔵🟡
It has been a fantastic few weeks for our U14 Hurlers, and we couldn't let their recent performances pass without giving them the recognition they deserve.
On 23 August, the lads travelled to Kilmessan for their Division 3 Championship game and came away with an excellent win. A strong first half put Blackhall in control and, despite a determined response from Kilmessan after the break, the lads showed great composure and workrate to see the game through.
They then travelled to St Pats Stamullen for their final group game against The Saints, knowing a place in the Division 3 semi final was up for grabs.
After a tight first half, the lads really took control after the break, showing excellent energy, skill and workrate all over the pitch. The contribution from the subs was fantastic too, with fresh legs helping to keep the intensity going right through to the final whistle.
That result secured their place in the Division 3 Cup semi final, a fantastic achievement for a group who started the year playing Division 4 in the Spring League. 👏
There has been brilliant development from these lads throughout the year, with their hard work at training showing through on match days. Their teamwork, determination and willingness to work for each other has been fantastic to watch.
