On Saturday 15th August, representatives of Blackhall Gaels GAA Club were delighted to attend the Play it GREEN Day at Dunganny, the Meath GAA Centre of Excellence.
Our Green Club was proudly represented by Philip McCormack and Kate Daly, who had the opportunity to showcase some of the work being undertaken within Blackhall Gaels as we continue to develop our Green Club journey. ๐ฑ
It was a fantastic day of sharing ideas, learning from other clubs and seeing the many different ways GAA clubs across Meath are taking positive steps towards a more sustainable future. โป๏ธ
A huge thank you to Meath GAA and Chairperson Jason Plunkett for the invitation and for bringing the countyโs Green Clubs together.
We were also delighted to hear from Lรกra Caimpion, Oifigeach don Ghaeilge agus don Chultรบr CLG na Mรญ, who shared some great ideas on increasing the use of Gaeilge throughout our clubs. โ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ช
We look forward to bringing some of the ideas and inspiration from the day back to Blackhall Gaels and continuing our work towards a greener, more sustainable club.
