LGFA Medal Presentation Evening

Batterstown Hall was buzzing with excitement as players, coaches, mentors and families gathered for a special LGFA Medal Presentation evening celebrating our U13 and U14 finalist teams, along with our U16 championship-winning team from 2025.

The girls were thrilled to receive their medals, a fitting reward for their hard work, commitment and fantastic achievements throughout the season. There were plenty of smiles, proud moments and well-deserved celebrations as the players were recognised for their efforts.

Adding to the excitement of the evening was the presentation of the girls’ brand-new match jerseys, proudly sponsored by Glenveagh Homes. The jerseys were met with great enthusiasm and the girls can't wait to wear them with pride in the seasons ahead. A huge thank you to Glenveagh Homes for their generous support of our LGFA senior and juvenile teams this year. Their sponsorship plays a vital role in helping our players continue to develop and enjoy their football.

Big thanks to our senior players Maeve Walsh, Alannah Forde, Leila O’Reilly and Lorraine Devaney, who presented the medals and helped make the occasion even more special for the girls.

The celebrations continued with plenty of pizzas and refreshments, which went down a treat and helped create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening.

A heartfelt thank you to all the coaches, mentors and parents whose dedication, encouragement and countless hours of support make days and nights like these possible. Their commitment continues to help our players grow, succeed and create lasting memories.

Congratulations to all our medal recipients on a fantastic year. The future of LGFA in our club is certainly bright, and this was a night to remember for everyone involved.
