In Memory of Jennifer Hamill

The Blackhall Gaels community extends our deepest sympathies to Caroline Griffin on the passing of her beloved wife, Jennifer Hamill.

Caroline was a cherished member of our LGFA and Camogie family for many years at both Juvenile and Adult level before she and Jen made their home together in Gran Canaria. Jen also proudly wore the Blackhall Gaels colours during her time with our camogie club and is remembered fondly by her teammates and friends.

Jen had a genuine love for sport and for being part of a team. Those who shared a pitch with her remember the smile she always had the moment she stepped onto the field, a reflection of the positivity and joy she brought wherever she went.

Caroline’s former teammates, mentors and many friends within the club are deeply saddened by this loss and are holding her close in their thoughts at this heartbreaking time.

We also extend our condolences to Jennifer’s parents Lorna and Adrian, her brother Micheal, sister Roisin, and to the extended Hamill and Griffin families and wide circle of friends who mourn her passing.

May Caroline and all who loved Jen find strength and support in the days ahead, knowing that the thoughts of the entire Blackhall Gaels community are with them.
