π§ New Community Water Station in Batterstown π§π°
Blackhall Gaels and the Batterstown community are delighted to welcome the new community water station at the Blackhall Gaels grounds.
This fantastic facility will provide easy access to fresh drinking water for players, walkers, residents, visitors and community groups while encouraging the use of reusable bottles and helping to reduce single use plastic within our community.
This project was made possible through the incredible support and generosity of volunteers, sponsors and local contributors and came at no financial cost to either the club or the wider community.
A sincere thank you to Philip McCormack, Kate Daly, Dermot Daly, Tom Nolan, NcGowan Builders, Meath County Council, the Blackhall Gaels Grounds Committee and Olivia Finnucane of Horizon Print for their support in bringing the project to life.
Pictured are Philip McCormack and Kate Daly at the new water station, while a second photo features John Hanlon, our U16 dual player and Meath county hurling representative, supporting the initiative.
Together we continue to make Batterstown and Blackhall Gaels a greener, healthier and more connected community.
