It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mary Penrose, beloved mother of our Junior Chairperson, Katie Penrose.
Mary was also Mother-in-law to Shane and the much-loved grandmother of Ethan (U15s), Lucas (U10s), and Sophia (U9s). Her presence will be sorely missed by her large and loving family.
Katieβs dedication and selfless work for Blackhall Gaels have always been an inspiration to us all, and our thoughts and prayers are with her and the entire Penrose family at this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements
Reposing at the family home (43 Lisnacloon Road, Castlederg BT81 7UF) on Friday, 8th August from 8 p.m.
Funeral from the family home on Sunday, 10th August at 1.15 p.m. for Requiem Mass at 2 p.m. in St. Patrickβs Church, Aghyaran.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
The Mass will be available to view via the parish webcam.
A shuttle bus service will operate from Garvagh Hall to and from the wake house.
