Despite the chill in the air Blackhall started the first half with fire in their bellies, with a point and goal from Jane Dolan and Kristina Troy in the first five minutes........

Despite the chill in the air Blackhall started the first half with fire in their bellies, with a point and goal from Jane Dolan and Kristina Troy in the first five minutes. Dolan continued to perform and notched up a further goal and four points in the half. The backs worked hard in defence to ensure that Killyons scores were kept to a minimum. Aoife Maguire got Killyons only score in the first half.
Killyon had a strong breeze on their backs in the second half and moved the game up a gear with Olivia Healy finding the net and Maguire sending another ball over the bar. This wasn’t enough though as Blackhall continued to cause trouble with great runs from Amy Crosbie and Maria Farrell. Emer Keane and Claire Burke were also impressive for Blackhall. This is Blackhalls first win of the league.
